Unfortunately, Martin&#8217;s next target is Debi&#8217;s father.<\/p>\n<p>Aykroyd has been in some of the most iconic and beloved films, but Grocer, the nonchalant assassin, is his best work in years.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m on the fence about John Cusack. <em>B<\/em><em>eing John Malkovich<\/em>\u00a0(1999) is one of the only times where I didn&#8217;t feel like he was trying too hard.<\/p>\n<p>Joan Cusack is fine in supporting roles like Blank&#8217;s secretary Marcella, but when given a larger part, she&#8217;s annoying, and it&#8217;s easy to see why <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/In_%26_Out\">Kevin Kline left her at the altar<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Minnie Driver will never again achieve the level of success she briefly experienced following <em> Good Will Hunting\u00a0<\/em>(1997).\u00a0 She&#8217;s fine here, but doesn&#8217;t bring anything special to the role.<\/p>\n<p>The film does an admirable job of mining the world of assassins for laughs, but the scene where Perryman comes face to face with Blank&#8217;s secret life is out of sync with the rest of the film.\u00a0 Lulling us into seeing him as a regular person only to remind us he is actually a mass murderer is fine, but the gory scene goes too far and makes us despise the character.<\/p>\n<p>Almost a good movie, but it misses the mark.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/external-content.duckduckgo.com\/iu\/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftse2.mm.bing.net%2Fth%2Fid%2FOIP.w4RN-uAZALrUQbmL_X69mwHaK-%3Fpid%3DApi&amp;f=1&amp;ipt=75561ea9339f2ed79213f47f77474c8baac7927033c10829d355d18ee52f56ec&amp;ipo=images\" alt=\"The East (2013)\" width=\"261\" height=\"387\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt1869716\/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1\">The East<\/a><\/em>\u00a0(2013)<\/p>\n<p>Sharon (Patricia Clarkson) assigns Jane (Brit Marling) to infiltrate The East, an underground anarchist organization.<\/p>\n<p>This film is ideological propaganda posing as a thriller.\u00a0 According to this, corporations are evil and will always choose to destroy the environment, fudging the results of testing to make a few more dollars.<\/p>\n<p>Ellen Page was adorable in <em>Juno\u00a0<\/em>(2007), creepy in\u00a0<em>Super\u00a0<\/em>(2010), and very good in\u00a0<em>Inception\u00a0<\/em>(2010), but this film is a major step back.\u00a0 She&#8217;s not acting, but reciting an angry anti-corporate screed.<\/p>\n<p>Brit Marling and director Zal Batmanglij allegedly spent months practicing\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Freeganism\">freeganism<\/a> to write the screenplay.\u00a0 Freeganism is, as best I can a tell, a fancy way of saying &#8220;dumpster diving.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t a horrible movie, but its relentless ideology and unwillingness to show any sympathy to opposing views makes it less than it could be. Massive corporations can be evil and are sometimes run by greedy people, but anything <em>can<\/em> be evil, including cryptic anarchic organizations dedicated to fighting corporatism in America.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/external-content.duckduckgo.com\/iu\/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftse4.mm.bing.net%2Fth%2Fid%2FOIP._ntoiwEy5UlEngRqh8UAnQHaEK%3Fpid%3DApi&amp;f=1&amp;ipt=aaf0f74efa8bed06886ce1bbc09a6234f3fbc70346bcca23d505ce06b4c263f7&amp;ipo=images\" alt=\"Escape from Tomorrow 2013 Official Trailer - YouTube\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt2187884\/?ref_=nv_sr_5\">Escape from Tomorrow<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>(2013)<\/p>\n<p>While vacationing at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Walt_Disney_World\">Disney World<\/a> with his family, Jim White is fired, fights with his wife, obsesses over a pair of French girls, and uncovers a conspiracy of murder and mayhem at the park, before meeting an early demise.<\/p>\n<p>One disturbing scene claims the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Disney_Princess\">Disney Princesses<\/a> at the theme parks are actually high-class hookers, particularly popular among Asian tourists.<\/p>\n<p>Filmed surreptitiously at Disney World and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Disneyland\">Disney Land<\/a> using iPhones and hidden cameras, this is an interesting experiment, but I can&#8217;t say it&#8217;s a success. It&#8217;s a trippy movie, but never elevates beyond the genius premise: let&#8217;s film a movie at Disney World. Too bad they didn&#8217;t say, let&#8217;s film a\u00a0<em>good<\/em> movie at Disney World.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/external-content.duckduckgo.com\/iu\/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftse2.mm.bing.net%2Fth%2Fid%2FOIP.u0Lh1NOaFAhh_dV9WyzE3gHaEc%3Fpid%3DApi&amp;f=1&amp;ipt=65f1b1448f4bdab749cf2278697825f34be1c1e4a550fdada5a99bb57328c143&amp;ipo=images\" alt=\"Museum Hours - Where to Watch and Stream Online - Entertainment.ie\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt2268732\/?ref_=nv_sr_1\">Museum Hours<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>(2012)<\/p>\n<p>Anne (Canadian singer Mary Margaret O&#8217;Hara, the less famous sister of comedian Catherine O&#8217;Hara) travels to Vienna to visit a sick cousin.\u00a0 She doesn&#8217;t know anyone and doesn&#8217;t speak the language.
